Notes

I've slowly been trying to get back into running the last couple of weeks. My knee got to the point where I relly just needed to take a step back after St Barts. There has been some improvement as I've been able to do relatively easy runs without making the knee worse. Trying to go to the gym a couple of times a week to build strength back up. Left side is still relatively weak especially the hamstring. I've had acupuncture on it a couple of times which seems to have helped get it more activated. Yesterday in the gym I did some stiff leg deadlifts up to 105 and a couple of sets of sumo deadlifts at 135. There is still quite a bit of nerve pinching happening when I put a lot of weight on my left side. Improvement has been quite slow.

Today the knee felt not horrible when running, still feels awkwards but I was able to increase my pace in a more fluid manner. After it didn't feel any worse than after previous runs. Obviously I am totally out of shape but my goal for this month is to just continue easy running with some injection in pace maybe once a week and continue working on my strength in the gym. Hopefully I can get back to training by beginning of April which should give me enough time to prepare for Mount Washington.
