Notes

Been drinking quite a bit this week and my weight is climbing. Original plan was to do a 6K tempo but Cherry Beach was very slippery from the freezing rain last night so I decided to go to Lakeshore and do a 400m workout. Plan was to do 2 repeats at HM pace, 2 at 10K, 2 at 5K, 2 at 3K, and 2 at mile pace, so 98.8, 93.6, 90.4, 85.6, 81.6. Ended up doing 98.9, 93.0, 89.7, 85.0, 84.4. Felt relatively easy until the 3K pace repeats. The last 2 repeats were very hard and I couldn't get any faster. My form started suffering and breathing was out of control. There was pretty much no wind, maybe the slightest headwind in the odd repeats.

Left foot was feeling ok and right glute/hip continue to get better but still very tight. Somewhat pleased with the workout but would have liked to drop the pace more in the last 4 repeats as I used to be able to do 10 at that pace.
