Same race, well organized, fast loop, L came 3rd female and won a medal + box of Clif gels! Wind from the west at about 18 km/h directly in face for most of first half. Couldn't recover from slow 2nd km, finished strong. Left metatarsals/sesamoid somewhat a bother, right adductor quite sore after but main problem was right arch. Really started hurting in last 2 km and killed on the way home and after. Need to get this resolved as I can't train/race properly with it. Overall pleased with performance considering conditions and lack of speed work over last month.
