Goal was between 4:08 and 4:10, started pretty good and was still feeling ok after turn around, pretty much cruising to 3.5km and then started feeling the wind. Didn't think I had much wind behind me on the way out but running along Cherry Beach coming home felt enough wind in my face to slow me down and sap all my energy. Really had to fight the last 1.5K and breathing got a bit out of control.
Legs were feeling heavy but not much DOMS from yesterday. Metatarsals and calves a little sore after, went for some dry needling for tight hip.
