Plan was to do 6K at HM pace but I felt remarkably relaxed in first 2k so decided to try to maintain that pace with hopes of picking it up in the last 2km. Started struggling a bit with 1.5K to go and breathing suffered with about 500m to go. Still had enough to finish strong (3:34 pace for last 220m). Quite pleased with the effort. Wore tights and 2 longsleeves, little wind from the south but mostly calm. Felt much easier than last week but still nowhere near as easy as a slightly faster tempo done on September 28. Only soreness I may have felt from yesterday's training session was some outer hip pain. Right calf really only hurt during cool down and left arch co-operated.
