Barefoot. Sand. Wow, that felt good. I didn't really feel like running tonight, but I'm on my NO EXCUSES workout plan. I didn't run the night before, so I have to run. Almost tried to rationalize that I ran 2 nights in a row, so I should take an extra day off. NO EXCUSES. HA!
Great run. I went out easy, spaced out. Looked up and thought I still had a few hundred yards to my turn around point, looked over and saw the beach cantina. WOW, I got there easy. I kept picking up the pace on the way back, didn't stop, and sprinted in to the finish. I must have really taken it easy on the first leg. The recovery was very fast, too. I probably could have gone for another run 30 seconds after finishing. It feels good to see such an improvement.
