Disney World Half Marathon
I felt great in the race. I started with 7-7:10 mm the first 2 then backed off into a 7:30 pace. It was tempted to push it harder but I wanted to save a little for next week. I picked up the pace at the end to make sure I would break 1:37.
There was really no point in the race where I felt that I was running hard and I still managed to set a PR by almost 1 minute. This was my first race that I didn't go all out and I hated it. The marathon next week is more important so I knew that I had to back off but I also feel that I missed out on an opportunity to have a really great race. If I can get conditions close to this at gasparilla I think I could go sub 1:32 or even sub 1:31.
