This is my splits for my first marathon. I was on track for my sub 4 hour marathon until about mile 21. Truth be told I was probably not on track even earlier because I was really close to 2 hours at the half and the second half is always slower than the first. :) You can see where I hit the wall so to speak at about mile 21. My watch was beeping before each mile and it got further before each mile as I progressed. My watch ended up showing that I ran 26.8 so I took the last .6 time and divided it amongst the rest of the 26 miles so I added 15 seconds to each mile. It is not perfect, but it proved to be fairly close at the half way point (watch says 1:58:19 at 13.1 and chip said 1:58:40)
