Why do I run:
See above. Every time I'm out in sub-20 weather and someone yells, "You're crazy!" as I shuffle/jog (sometimes run) past them, I know I'm doing the right thing. Actually, people have yelled this in much warmer weather as well. I think there's something about running that seems very extreme and daring to non-runners. |
Why I started running:
I can't stand to be just like everyone else unless there's a good reason. I have always noted that runners appeared to be much more individual in personality than other athletes, and when I discovered that I too could run (via the C25K), I knew I had found the sport for me. |
