Last repeat on the R2C Wild Card. I thought I might have enough to go sub-7 on this, but the heat and humidity wiped me out. I was still pretty happy with how things went on the wild card - Pete did great and it was nice to break things up to quicken the pace a bit.
Team finish: 13 hrs 10 min, ~20 min ahead of schedule! Overall I loved the whole event and the chance to spend time with old friends (and new) and achieve something together. This was not a cakewalk (2nd hottest race on record), and everyone did remarkably well. Would definitely do it again!
Onward to the MCM...
