Notes
I've been reflecting on what confidence means. When I was younger I thought it meant being someone who had it all together and was the best at whatever it is they did.
As I've grown older I've learned I've had it wrong - while excelling at something can definitely breed confidence, to me a confident person is someone who's aware of their strengths and limitations and knows how to work within them and possibly even transcend them.
I'm not a confident person because I have all the answers - I'm confident because I know I'll work to find them when I don't, and I can weather storms better knowing they're just temporary.
Confidence is an ongoing process.
