Hung out pre-race w/ K & K & assorted SIPR runners and decided to shoot for an 8:20 average ppm; first 2 miles went so well I could ease up in the final 2 miles; good race in nearly ideal racing conditions; I feel like the treadmill "hikes" are really improving my speed on flatter, typical-Memphis courses
