NEW DISTANCE and COURSE PR!!! Broke 4-mile distance PR by :58 in cool but sunny and windy conditions. First two miles were too fast, Third mile mostly on target and just hung on for dear life in final mile. Poor diet choices Friday night (Macaroni Grill) made for 3-lb. weight gain and full stomach caused me to hit a wall at 2.25 in, but hung on for a good third mile. Walked for 15-20 seconds shortly after Mile 3 marker to get heart rate down. Thought I'd get a PR but didn't think I'd have a sub-28:00 until I really picked it up on the approach to and the 400m "sprint" on the track.
