Still sweating from warm up on dirt when I got to strip; took off for first 400 of planned 4 x 1200. It felt so tough I decided to bag it, turned around and walk-jogged back to car.
Once back to finished I decided to give it one more try and finished out the workout:
1200 splits were 5:52, 5:56, 5:57, 5:55 which works out to mile pace of 7:56. What can I say? All I can do is keep trying and hope I catch a wave.
