6400 meters in 32:31 on the strip--32:41 when translated to miles
1600 splits were 8:09, 8:08, 8:17, 7:57
This compares with 31:44 when I ran the same workout 9 days ago, about :15 per mile, slower. I thought I'd be able to run the same pace or faster but it was not to be. I didn't have the dead legs or anything and wasn't struggle--I just wasn't moving he legs as fast as I thought I was. I don't know if I'll ever be able to recognize the subtle differences in how the ol' body is doing that would give me a better idea as what I'm ready to run.
Anyway, I actually felt pretty good doing it. Maybe I just pushed harder last time or I wasn't as recovered as I thought.
