8 mile run with 4X(2 min on / 2 min off). Started new pair of running shoes; made a HUGE difference. Last week I started on around 400 miles on my previous running shoes, and I really didn't realize how much I needed new ones, especially considering it was my first week back. It's hard enough to make the transition to daily running after taking a few weeks easy, and moving forward I should really make sure that I have relatively new shoes to start with, since this is the time that running is going to hurt.
