Notes
17.3 mile long run at Swallow Cliff. Been a while since I ran here, figured I'd change it up after running at Waterfall for the past few months. I think the trail here is a little more challenging than Waterfall. There's more hills, and the ground surface is a lot more challenging to run on (rocks, tree roots, etc.). It's also much more shaded here, so it helps a lot on warmer days. But today was actually pretty ideal weather, nothing to complain about. I felt a lot better today than I did these past few weeks on my long runs. 2 weeks ago at Waterfall, for example, I felt like I was hit by a train after mile 12, and barely managed to make it to 15.5. So a lot less pain today, although I kept the pace pretty conservative, almost a little too easy. These hills though are nuts, like honestly it is an order of magnitude harder than Waterfall, so it's tough to maintain a good pace.
