Notes

-I really wanted to do the long-run today, but Steen told me that it was a bad idea and that I should bike today and tomorrow because of my foot. This was like the worst day to cross train, because I missed my long run.

-I did 27.8 miles this morning, I biked up around the Prarie and did a couple loops, I was going to do 45 miles, but Steen said that was too much and that I should just bike twice, so that's what I'm doing.

-I wish that I didn't have to cross train, but it's only 2 days before I'm back to running, which is good.

-if my foot is feeling good later, I'm going to ask Steen if I could maybe run tomorrow, I want to get my running shoes back on as soon as possible.

Definitely let your foot heal, but glad to see the work ethic is still there. Keep it up!

Wow, really nice bike man, 22mph is moving that's awesome. I agree with Vasant, we've got a 5-month summer so there's no need to push it and risk a worse injury. If you go on some more long rides try mixing it up where you go, for me it makes the time go by faster if I'm biking somewhere new.

Thanks Ryan, I'll keep that in mind for next time.

A minor sacrifice now is worth long term health moving forward. Missing one workout isn't going to make a difference, missing weeks/months of training from not listening to your body will!
