LA River ride - 70 mile route. Nice group ride. Though the congestion at the end where the long ride coincided with the family ride got kinda scary. An out and back course from the LA Zoo to Shoreline park in Long Beach and back. My time is approximate because I managed to lose my Garmin when we were packing the car to head home :(
The ride was nice enough though there's not a lot of scenery to recommend it; mostly it's industrial Los Angeles, though we did cut through some of the older neighborhoods bordering downtown which was nice and once you got down into the Long Beach area the scenery improved a bit... but mostly it was concrete river and industrial wasteland.
