Run with D today. This was good it just makes it more evident to me how much work I have in front of me to get faster but overall it was a good workout and I enjoyed having the company. I felt pretty good most of the run. We did 3 Fartleks - 3:00, 2:00 and 1:00 at 7:30 pace - we held the pace without a problem for all 3. I think I will take another day off tomorrow and do a short speed workout (5K time trial) on Monday night. I'm hoping to be able to keep right around an 8 min pace then on Tuesday go for a nice slow run between 4 and 6 miles at 10 minute pace.
