That was fun! Haven't done a workout on a track in 20 years. I forgot how much "fun" it is. I mean it hurts, but it's a good hurt lol.

I felt fantastic.

I tracked my splits manually on another watch and they were: 7:51, 7:35, 7:20. So GPS data is a little slow, I had to hold myself back a little. I went through first quarter at like 6:30 pace lol. I held back a little on 2nd mile too. I didn't want to negative split too much so that I could let it rip on last repeat. On last mile I cruised and then put the hammer down for like the last 600 meters. I felt really strong, but also got in a great workout. I know the workouts will get harder, but I felt like I nailed this one today and it was a huge confidence booster. I think I'm going to continue to PR all winter at the shorter distances. These interval/tempo workouts are really making me strong. I'm LOVING working with Jon Mott. He is going to take me places.
