Been doing long tempos instead of intervals for the last two weeks to get ready for the March 1/2. I'm realizing that it's really been taking it out of my legs. Today my legs felt sore from the start until about 7 miles into the run, and it felt a bit hard. Kind of a nice change --- no feeling of incipient injury like I've had previously, just muscle soreness and a bit of fatigue.
Windy -- ran into occasionally very strong headwinds first 1/2.
