Welp. Done. Headed out for a long run on the dirt road. Was suffering from the gun and ridiculously cold. The wind cut through me and froze my face, hands, and dick in no time. My stride was awkward and lots of stuff was hurting, including my foot. Turned around at 20 minutes going slow, then headed back fast. Ran a 6:11 or something downhill, downwind, and my foot flared up hard with a mile or a half mile to go. But i wasn't super worried until the last few steps. My dick really hurt at the end and I felt nauseous. But then I was limping around and I'm 97 percent sure I have a stress fracture. I am going to get after cross training though. 11 hours per week average until I can come back to running. Lifting hard and core and walking as soon as I can. Going to build up the biggest base a low mileage runner has ever seen. My endurance will strike fear in the hearts of my competitors. Still going sub-15 this spring. Fuck the haters, fuck stress fractures, fuck it. The Lord is my savior and my inspiration. Take delight in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart Psalm 37:4. Every morning when you wake up you have two choices. Go back to sleep and dream your dreams, or get up and chase those dreams. Hope.
