Notes

Went to the high school to run for the first time. Figured I'd get a sense of my fitness by running this familiar loop. I am surprised it went this well. I ran 16 minutes, walked one, then ran the rest of the way. So I didn't run the full 5, but I figure I can extrapolate the time to 36:20 (I would have run more than twice as fast as I walked, so subtract 30+ seconds.) That means I basically ran the summer five at 7:15 pace. I've probably been doing my easy runs much faster than I thought! And I felt pretty good during this, with the obvious exception of the initial uphill. Very, very pleased. I get way too excited about easy run paces! But I am extremely motivated and excited to train hard and be great again! Olympic Track coming up!
