Good solo workout at the BF track after work. Did 2x100 meter strides to warm up. Wanted to be conservative and went out too slow in 1:35. Dropped a 1:33 after and was a bit worried. Ran a 3:00 for 6:08, then started notching it down and ran a 5:49 1,600 to finish in 11:57. Felt pretty good. Then right into a brisk 400 meter jog at close to 7 minute pace. I like taking a recovery jog instead of a standing rest on threshold workouts. Was feeling good going into my second rep. Went out in about 5:53 and then maintained it for a 5:50 final 16. Got tired towards the end, but a good sesh. Did 2x100 meter strides afterwards. Happy to have this in the bag.
