Marathon Training Week 10: Went for a run this morning. Was a little cloudy but warm. Got a couple km in and noticed the sky in the distance was quite dark. Thought I had time to finish the run before the rain started. About three minutes later, it started to rain. It started slow, but picked up quickly. Was quite drenched by the time I got home but it was refreshing. My shoes were quite wet, which made the steps heavier. But it felt cool like my feet were pendulums. Heavy to lift, but the swing was easy. Supposed to run 10 km this morning but when I got home and shut everything down, I noticed on my watch that i only went 9 km. Since I did the route in the opposite direction from normal, I forgot the turn that adds the last km onto the run.
