Got to race around 7:15 am. Temp was around 50` Start area was a madhouse. Phil and I dropped off our bag & went to corral 7, didn't get any warm-up in. Started at about 7:55am, 10 minutes after the elites. Went out a little faster than I wanted in 8:30 min/mile for the first mile. Settled in a little too much and mile 4 was 9:06 min/mile. Felt very comfortable the entire race.The middle miles I held pace around 8:30 min/mile & final 4 miles in 8:12 min/mile. Finished strong & got a PR. Official chip time was 1:50:42.
