5k at the end of day 2 at conference. Went in the top group, pretty slow to start out, but then picked it up quite a bit soon after. The top few guys started separating and I went with them, sitting behind Geno Arthur of Oberlin for most of the race. The Allegheny bros started gapping us and I was sitting in fourth as we also gapped the guys behind us. Felt as if I could get Geno in the last couple laps, but the group behind started coming back to us, and I had a tough time staying with Geno. Togi passed me and Geno had a bit of a gap on me. I got close to him but didn't get him. I should have kicked harder earlier on. Finished 5th, with Togi finishing 3rd and Nick and Billy closing on me to finish 6th and 7th.
