Day 3: 145mi (5200' elev.) to Cumberland, MD through the Great Allegheny Passage! 135 of these miles were on Gravel! No mechanical issues - just a whole lot of good views and cool tunnels! (Looking at you Big Savage). This was my favorite day - coming up the divide to a perfect evening in high country was beautiful! Then coming down the trail into cumberland at Sunset was something not to be missed.
