Biked with Nate Goss and Josh Raycroft on Day 1 of our Bike Trip from Cincinnati to Sleeping Bear Dunes!
Highlights of Day 1 were:
- in Eaton, IN there was a fireworks shop which was launching fireworks off as advertisement. The Ohio-Indiana state line was right in the middle of the town
- my remembrances of the Cardinal Greenway trail are nothing but good - it is a wonderful, flat, continuous, smooth trail with an appropriate amount of fountains and bathrooms!
- Savages burgers in Muncie hit the spot - good crowd and good beer selection too!
- Ball State has a beautiful campus on the river
- Hitting 100miles after dinner without issue - legs felt good!
- Getting chased by a bunch of farm dogs who were without leashes or fences
- Watching the sun go down on a perfectly flat, beautiful farm country day
