Run: Long Previous Next

Notes

What I call a long run is in fact three short but quick runs.

The first occured at 4:20 AM when Josh Matte and I held seven minute pace for about a mile when we ran to catch the earliest train out of Worcester.

The second occured in Southborough when Josh and I ran 3.5 miles at 5:15 in the morning to make it to the start of the Boston Marathon.

The final run happened at 10:30 when Josh and I ran back out to the train station.

Each run was held at close to 7 minute pace and both Josh and I had bags on our backs the whole time.

After volunteering for the B-Marathon, we caught a quick (10 min) nap on the Commuter Rail and went in to catch the tail end of a redsox game (vs. Tampa Bay, they lost 8-2) as Sacco's uncle had miraculously freed up 4 tickets the day before (section 24, row 3, seat 11) Chyeah!

LAter highlights of the day included getting free beer and t-shirts from the puma store as well as me missing my first MQP meeting because of lack of forethought!

I am super tired now (day after) because of all of the shenanigans yesterday...
