Really happy with this workout. I went into it pretty nervous since my legs still felt tired from Tussey!! Though less sore. So I knew it would be a little bit of a struggle. And with Steve's watch it was hard to tell sometimes how fast I was going, and I actually thought I ran much slower than I did. And both tempos had significant uphills (though downhills too) so I'm happy I was still able to hit a little under the target pace. I felt a little sluggish, but for a workout when I was feeling sluggish I think this went really well! The workout was:
2 miles easy (about 16 min)
20 min tempo (5:48-6:03ish)--I think about 3.41 miles, which averages to 5:52
10 miles easy (7:08-7:44, average probably 7:25ish)
20 min temp--3.42 miles, which averages to 5:52. Interesting and good that they were almost exactly the same! Harder to say what each was since they got blended with the 10 mile part and a super slow cooldown.
2.08ish mile cooldown
