I thought this workout went fairly well! Felt great at the beginning...didn't feel like I was pushing too much and the pace was quicker than my goal for the first few miles (sub 6:10, then I hoped to pick it up at the end). My stomach was bothering me off and on though, and after a pit stop towards the end of the workout I had a hard time getting back into the groove of things and I felt like I was pushing more. Might have needed to hold back more at the beginning, or maybe just an off stomach day!
Workout was:
2 miles warm-up (just about 17 min)
20 min tempo (5:54-6:05)
4 min easy
15 min tempo (5:54-5:59)
3 min easy
10 min tempo (6:07)
2 min easy
5 min tempo (5:53 average before I stopped)
2 miles easy
