Met up with the club, ran with Taylor for first 8 and Anne for first 4 or so. Loved their company. Really wanted to make myself do the progression on the roads because I have done so many workouts on the track recently! Humid today. After the workout I saw that it was at 95%- lucky I did not check this beforehand or I might have chickened out from doing it on the road. Lucky also it was only in mid-60's.
Was enjoying Taylor's company so much I did an extra warm-up mile with her and she also did the first mile of my progression. Warm-up was 7, then 8 miles progression (6:28, 6:27, 6:16, 6:15, 6:08, 6:03, 5:59, 5:56). Same as is typical here- up and down throughout but relatively evenly distributed. Felt really great the first 6 miles, the last 2 felt pretty hard. Then 3 miles cool-down.
