Extremely glad to have been able to finish it without any major injuries. The left foot held up fine. I had a right knee issue at the beginning of the second half going downhill but was able to keep it under control. The lack of training showed near the end when my pace dropped below 10:00min/mi. Had i trained more though i'm not sure if my knee would have been stronger or injured. Again, i have never ran that long before and being able to cross the finish line after being injured twice was quite a feat.

I had the intention of doing 1 min intervals at hi/lo speeds but realized it was easier to pace myself with others. Next time i'll simply set the FR60 watch to race mode instead of training and do auto start/stop lap based on 5mph speed.

Heart rate shot close to 190bpm near the beginning. I think it was high already way up before the start. Cadence was fairly constant through hills but strides shortened near the end. The weather was great and just wore a CoolMax long sleeve shirt with shorts.
