What to say? I would say that I killed this!!!
Didn't need to run this hard, but I took off and was feeling good, so I went with it. Mile 5 is a bit overstated because I stopped to grab some water from some little kids that were handing it out. After that, just running mainly by feel and catching/passing people.
It was a good day...
BTW -- manual splits put this as follows:
05k -- 17:07
10k -- 35:11.70 (PR is 35:11.34)
I think that is my second fastest 10k ever and I still had a bit to go...
According to official race splits, my last 10k was 35:58. :)
