What to say about this? I need to fricking suck it up! First 10k was just about what I wanted. Although, I started fighting negative thoughts, a side stitch and just general discomfort after the 4th mile. Should have just bit my lip and ran through it. Unfortunately, I don't seem to have that mindset lately. I am going to chock the lousy performance up to the weather, but also know that I need to get my mind right if I really want to get to where I can be.
Fairly happy with how I competed with two other masters runners down Superior and into the finish. Unfortunately, they had started well back of me and SPANKED my a$$ in the chip time!
Bottomline -- I need to stop being such a pu$$y and man up!
