Notes

4 miles w/ 2 at 7:32 tempo

The 8:27 felt incredibly easy after the 7:32's. Will stick with the 8:30 plan at the start and see how I feel after 7-8 miles. Even if I stay at 8:30 the entire time I will PR and hit under the 3:45 mark.

Got my bib # and it is 1801. Not sure if that means anything to me, but I'm sure if it does it will come to me this week.

Wed Rest Thurs easy 4 Fri- easy 3 and head to Dububuque to see Tanner run w/ Coe.

He was runner of the week this week for Coe College. He works hard.

Good luck this weekend and tell Tanner congratulations on the runner of the week accolade.

Thanks. I will take all the luck I can drum up. Looks to be perfect weather between upper 30s and lower 50s for Sunday w/ partly cloudy skies. Time to be smart about the start and the race plan.

Yep, Tanner took 3 minutes off his first 8K (which wasn't pretty). Still hasn't peaked or made it under 30 yet, but believes he will get there this Fri or next weekend. I honestly didn't know if he'd ever get under 35 when he started.
