Notes
Light rain. A few runners out this morning, but ran into another band director, Dorothy (an ultra marathoner). We did a few miles together and she had some good things to talk about with running and band stuff.
2 days in a row with running partners. Crazy. She runs around a 10-10:30 pace at best and walks some, but that didn't hurt me. She was up for IBA president, but lost the election (that's a big deal...IBA president...entire state of band directors in a state known for music education).
Will probably take off Friday and have a nice speed workout on Friday before tackling the 20 miler on Sunday. The 5K in Osky 2 weeks ago before the 17 miler didn't seem to hurt any, so I think this will work well.
Mizuno shoes rule. Forgot I had them on.
