4 x 4 mile intervals at 7:45 pace is the goal with 7:45 in between.

Very social traffic today. One lady stopped on the Harper Rd and said, "You better start running faster, Darren's gonna catch ya, he's behind you." Darren had run 5 miles and I had finished my 2nd 4, so on my 3rd 4 I hit my turnaround before he hit my turnaround on the way back.

I definitely faded on the final 4, but ran it tough at the end. Very easily could have been 8:00+ on the final two miles, but my body gave me no indications I needed to slow down and no one said it was supposed to be easy. Even with the breaks in between, this is the fastest I've done 16 miles.

My goal: get a better understanding of what the 7:45 pace feels like. Running 16 of them in a row helps. Now to get the other 9984 done to ingrain it into my muscle memory.
