First run this long in a couple of weeks and my calves are still a little sore from Friday's hilly 10k. The change in drop between the NBs and Saucony's didn't bother me before, but I wasn't doing a lot with hills when I switched them and the Buffalo half was very flat. They eventually warmed up and I had a few good miles before the left side stitch came and made the last 4 miles kinda tough. That kind of stuff has been a persistent problem that I hope will resolve with more time spent training in general. I tend to think it's more from bouncing than breathing, because it gets really rough on steep downhills and nearly disappears on steep uphills. Also, the outside toes on the right foot felt like they were going numb or hanging over the edge of the last... I've had this suspicion that the midsole on the Kinvara 3s is not even laterally and I'm not sure if it's true or not yet. Time will tell.
