Worst ever. Hot and shadeless and my right foot felt like it was sliding off to the outside constantly, which is becoming a theme with the Kinvaras. Sweat dripped into my eyes constantly and so I ran, eyes stinging and half blind, until the heat inexplicably became too much for me at around 4 miles. After getting no answer to my bailout call to Danielle at home, I alternated running and walking (and stopping in occasional shade) until I was able to get ahold of her and was picked up 7 miles into a planned 11 mile run. Went home and collapsed. Slept for an hour. Urine indicated I was a little dehydrated but nothing serious. Puzzling.
