Haven't run this route since last fall.. what a pleasure. MP where the road was close enough to flat and ran the final hill faster than ever. Last hard run before the marathon and for being that it was encouraging. If I fail, I should note here that I decided to run 7 flat the first 3 miles and then try to go for sub 3 if it feels good- completely flouting every bit of advice given that I should try for 3:10. Drove the course today and it is super.fucking.flat. I'm good at conservative in training, but let's be honest, burning up pain requires fire and lots of it.
