Good run. Faster than I wanted, but that indoor track is so fast.I question whether they measured it right. I always add an extra lap and still 7:30~ is nothing more than a quick trot. Achilles soreness switched to medial side which is weird(and great), faded halfway in and returned in the last mile. Didn't affect my stride, but could have in a longer run. Creaking afterward was more pronounced than with the 5 mile runs and the ankle compression and range of motion mobs were a little painful, but now I feel like I'm back to where I was before the run. I feel like the compression especially manages the inflammation for good and deals with that junky tissue. My feeling is that a lot of mobility work and a decreased training schedule ought to land me in a better place in a week. It's possible the tendinosis will need more healing time, but I don't really see a risk of blowing up.
