THe times aren't exact but I think I was actually slower on the first and faster on the second, the last two miles were in the 6's. I think it was actually easier to do the tempo pace in this progression fashion and I was totally feeling the music. I guess I would call this a continuous tempo versus a cruise since the first four were "easy". That's funny. 8:00 is my new easy pace. :) I switched to 180bpm for the last 2 songs. "You're alright" did it again! Love running to that song.
So I'm sick this week and probably had the two really good tempo/speed workouts . and one in the rain. I didn't do the 5 miles, but I think this was better. I really need to start doing positive splits in races again.
Oh yeah, these Elite's aren't too shabby for doing tempo work.
