I didn't mean to do this. I started at 7:30 pace and just kept going up slowly. It was truly a progressive negative split in the purest sense.... and it just felt ... almost easy. A little overwhelming to be honest, it just was a great run. If I can do this on a treadmill...... Dude!!! This happens every time I start with slow low expectations, and I end up running a sub 7 3rd mile, and a sub 6:30 last mile. THat's what we have to do at Buffalo Stampede. I've got nothing to lose. The pr is 8:24, but technically, it's a 7:28 pace from the last half marathon. so I HAVE to be faster than 7:28. So I'll start there and save it for the end. Do it right homie!!
