Notes
This was warmer than last year's, but there is no reason other than pacing and time management why I couldn't have beaten last year's time. If I would've only looked down at the clock to know how close I was, I would've pushed up the hill, and possibly also taken the third place I was shooting for. But I was 25 seconds to slow for that, and only 18 seconds too slow for a PR. So a little disappointed, but as Christeen said, at least it was close. I also blew my wad on the middle trail section. I think if I didn't start my pull too quick I would've have had enough to charge up the hill. I walked twice and once for over 10 seconds. This killed me. But another good point was, I beat my friend Thom Run (Pearman?) and Zenith. Although she got first in her age group with 38:07, Thom got third.
Look out for John Sant, the third place winner with 36:51. A medium build guy, his girl is on Rebels. He runs like a newbie, but he runs fast. He may be a good rabbit to catch. Also John Coss, Kim Shroer and Nicki Wells were nice folks on the race.
