Man it was HOT!!! But it was great to look down at my watch and see I was in the 7's and low 8's. I kept it going for the first half and planned on slowing down after the turnaround since I wanted to be around 8:31. I forced myself to slow down even more on mile 8, but I'm not sure it it was fatigue or the new pace, the next four miles were not as comfortable and harder. But I felt ok when I hit the last mile and strolled down the hills. Shoes were great considering. I still probably got a 100 miles on these lunars.
