Miner's Ravine Trail, approximately 8.6 miles now that it's finished, ending with Miner's Ravine Road, aka the HILL. Still feeling beat up from Sunday's race especially the back of my leg/ankle which I now know is called the achilles tendon (more on that). But it always starts to feel better when running so I went out for my 10 mile run with no music, no pacing, just the distance on my GPS for a 5 out and back. Since the trail is a little short I ran down to Sierra college and eventually... the dreaded Miner's Ravine Road. I knew I would be a little fast but didn't know what to expect when I finally looked at my watch. Given all the hills, I was pretty happy.

Back to the Achilles tendon.... uh... I better watch that. Just read an article that hills is the worse!!! I raced with this? I better rest it and go back to easy flat running.
