Notes

9:18 without counting the break.

Better than last 20 mile long run, but man, I suck at long distance. Shoes were ok, but the flat foot insoles had a little rub on my right small toe area, and again it felt like I had an internal blister on the left. Maybe Flat Foot isn't that helpful. But if you compare my last run, I did better. Oh, there was a 2:00 minute break in the bathroom...... but I felt ok after running.

So here was the plan- start off with a 10:00 pace, then 9:45, 9:30, 9:15, 9:05... etc. Was close to it. Then hang under 8:59 for the middle and slow down last three miles. Well, except for the mile 12 where I had to drop a load, I did pretty good but slowed down above 9:00 around mile 15. And then at 18 I decided to slow it down and make sure I didn't have to walk. But my feet were hurting and my legs were sore, I slowed down just over 10:00 and around 9:45 the last mile and a half. Good news is the only time I walked was when I went to the bathroom. The bad news is my legs, stomach easiness- just isn't liking the long distance. Seems like 18.5 is my training preferred limit. May be timing, I don't know.

At this point, since I was hurting anyway, I'm leaning towards wearing the Adrenaline GTS for my Marathon. At least they will be faster than the MC's, but more support than the Infiniti. I also need to alternate the flat foot insoles on my mizuno's. The beasts are too flat for 16+ so Mizuno's and the Black Addictions are now my long run shoes. I'll use the beast for easy runs I want a quality run for (treadmill/street), and the silver addictions for junk miles.
